The Coussin vineyard and estate was named after Jean Baptiste Coussin who owned the property in the 18th Century. Since 1903 it is owned and cultivated by the Sumeire family. The wine made from the AOP Côtes de Provence vines of Coussin (formerly called La Croix du Prieur) bears the name Domaine Coussin.

Terroir
Between the Sainte Victoire mountain and the Aurélien mountain, on hilly lands, slightly in altitude (250 meters) the vines of the Domaine Coussin, on a clay-limestone soil, are surrounded by the seven characteristic groves of the domain, where thyme and broom rub shoulders with pine and oak trees.

Vinification
Low temperature stabilization for 18 days, followed by temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes
Very pale pink color.
Subtle and delicate nose of stone fruits such as apricot and peach.
Crystalline palate, notes of clementine and orange unfold towards a lengthy citrus finish.
